ABOUT GO DESIGN
Empowering Through Sewing & Sublimation
Go Design is the non-profit arm of our business and is proudly connected to Adell Designs. While Adell Designs focuses on creative branding and premium printing services, Go Design was founded with a mission to give back—offering sewing training that empowers individuals with valuable, practical skills.
To sustain and expand this impact, we’ve introduced sublimation printing services. Currently managed through Adell Designs, this service functions as a separate entity to generate income for Go Design. The profits directly fund our training center and create job opportunities for graduates who demonstrate strong potential.
The Heart Behind Go Design
Two passionate changemakers, one vision: Empower through skills.
Adell began her journey as a creative graphic designer, building her own business while raising her son through homeschooling. Her heart for making a difference grew from personal experience, inspiring her to help others find purpose and opportunities.
Mark learned the art of sewing from his mother and later ran his own business, Go Mark. Driven by compassion, he and his wife partnered with welfare initiatives to support vulnerable children.
Together, Mark and Adell saw the need for skills-based empowerment in their community. They founded Go Design in Bredasdorp, a non-profit that equips people with sewing, design, and life skills—opening doors to jobs and new beginnings.

Day 1: Getting started
- Introduction to domestic and industrial sewing machines
- Cutting techniques and basic pattern-making
- Hands-on sewing practice

Day 2: Creative Design & Projects
- Introduction to graphic design for fabric
- Themed projects like designing and sewing a bag
- Problem-solving and creativity challenges

Day 3: Independent Creation
- Students recreate their own project from scratch
- Build confidence and showcase skills
- Identify top talent for potential job opportunities
